Xmas snippets

Visitors Opinions
I received two comments this week one from a couple of lads from Cheshire (could be our furthest travelled guests to date) that came up for a few days last week (see photo of note). They left no mess were amiable and welcoming. They caught a couple of fish in very poor weather conditions and thoroughly enjoyed their visit! These are the type of visitors we are now attracting, real dyed in the wool anglers with no interest in the practice of Muppetry! Thank you lads, for taking the time to submit a return and leave your comments it is much appreciated. You said you would like to come back, well we would really like to have you back just drop me a line on the g mail address and I will give you the lowdown on what's going on!

The other comments were from our good friends from Region 52 Ayrshire PAC and appeared in print in their most excellent magazine "Pish Talk". The articles author Ian Lambert the captor of the heaviest Brown Trout caught from St Marys Loch waxes lyrical about the ambience of the lochs and the warm welcome received. You are too kind Ian, like the two lads above you and your colleagues are exactly the type of anglers we relish meeting on the lochs you and your colleagues epitomise all that comprises the complete angler.

It is no surprise to me that invitations to fish normally private venues are extended to you, the behaviour of your group brings nothing but praise on the Pike Anglers Club of Great Britain. Please do come back any time you like we are always pleased to see you! Oh and Ian it's just about time for "Matilda" to make an appearance so we will be going all out to bring the heavy Brown Trout title back to St Mary's! Catch up with you all later and hope Santa is good to you have a great time over the festive period!

There you go, two groups of anglers who are excellent ambassadors for the sport of angling!

Merry Christmas to all our readers!

If you can decipher that I salute you! I clicked it by mistake, its a font called webdings! The following in recognisable font is what I meant to say-

Merry Christmas to all our readers!
